HDiCreator has been renamed to VICreator

HDi is a Microsoft trademark for Microsoft's software that provides interactivity features on HD DVD players and discs. HDi is not the term for all HD DVD interactivity or to refer generically to HD DVD advanced interactivity. So, Microsoft asked us to stop using HDi in our product name.

VICreator 1.5 released.

VICreator updated with Image and Font viewers.

You can preview images and fonts directly in VICreator.

Supported image types: JPEG and PNG
Supported font types: TTF, TTC and OTF (except several Adobe fonts)

HDiCreator 1.2 released

This is a maintains release. Two critical bugs were fixed:

HDiCreator failes with "TargetInvocationException" immediately after starting.
Creating new project fails with "System.NullReferenceException".

These bugs were reproducible only on specific configurations of installed software.

HDiCreator – First IDE for HD DVD Authoring

HDiCreator version 1.0, the first Integrated Development Environment for HD DVD Advanced Content, is released. Being created exclusively for HD DVD, this IDE supports a number of features for an effective authoring process.

HDiCreator provides powerful xml editor and javascript editor. It allows you to quickly start validation to check the Advanced Content you have created and then easily preview the results.

Moreover, HDiCreator is the first application for HD DVD authoring which has complete integration with ACA files. In this IDE ACA represents a regular folder which allows you to work with files from the archive just within the project tree.

These features make creating HD DVD content an intuitive and fairly fast process.
